"The park, the woods, represents life. You go down to the memorial and come back up, it represents a catharsis. It represents coming from death to life. " - Peter Walker

Peter Walker is an American landscape architect and the founder of PWP Landscape Architecture. In a 1993 review, Walker was one of four landscape architects names as being representative of the new generation. PWP has received many awards and is best known for co-designing the World Trade Centre Memorial in New York with architect Michael Arad.

Another notable project is the Barangaroo Headlands Park in Sydney in which PWP was part of the team re-creating the historic headland on an abandoned dock. The space was inspired by vintage paintings, plans, and photographs which were all documented with geomorphological evidence. The new headland can be distinguished from its historic model as it has now incorporated an underground cultural centre and public garage. With a shoreline walk to encourage exercise and amusement with segregated areas for pedestrian and bicycle access.

I think this visualisation is a really interesting way to display the different layers within the space. This is just a small section of the Barangaroo project but I thought the visualisation of the space, and then the space when finished looks really exciting.
